This book contains numerous annotations in Hooke's hand that show him following along with the calculations, cross-referencing chapters, sketching geometric diagrams, and even adding some references, e.g. in the left margin of p. 62, where in the midst of his notes on triangular and pyramidal numbers, we see his note "Vieta p.374" in reference to François Viète's Opera mathematica (Leiden, 1646). See auct_BH_188.
While Hooke's copy has been scanned and is available online on EEBO, unfortunately his annotations are not very legible.
